Oliver had endured severe chemical burn wounds on his abdomen which became infected.
He was operated on on 15 March 2021. The outer layer of skin was removed enabling the team to clean the infected area. To eliminate the biofi lm build up, Oliver started his treatment with VetMed Wound and Skin Care solution six times a day.
As the infection was brought under control, the solution was applied three times a day. In the presence of biofi lm, it increases the Bacteria’s defence systems against Anti-microbial Treatments. The final image was taken on 12 April 2021 when Oliver was released to his owners.
